The problem at first wasnt with Windows 7 it was with punkbuster not supporting the beta/RC software. However, I have reasons to beleive that because Windows 7 is closer to launch that PB went ahead and updated their software for use in windows 7.

Call of Duty Punkbuster - Inadequate o/s privalege - posted in Games: On my other computer, I have just recently installed Call of Duty United Offensive. When I try to log into a punkbuster server, it kicks me in seconds displaying the message Inadequate o/s Privaleges. I have COD4 working perfectly with WINDOWS 8. COD4 EXE file - update and run as ADMIN in Compatibility mode - XP. Punkbuster a and b - These files must be run in ADMIN and Compatibility mode again XP. Once you load up the program - bring up TASK Manager and adjust PRIORITY of each of the above programs to HIGH.Ads keep us online. Without them, we wouldn't exist.
